Ingredients:- 1 1/2 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 cups long-grain white rice
- 5 cups water
- 1/2 Tablespoon salt
Preparation:Heat the oil in a 12-inch dutch oven over a full spread of coals. Add rice and coat with oil. Add water and salt.
Cook with 10 briquettes bottom heat and 14 briquettes top heat for 20 to 25 minutes, until done. Fluff rice and serve.
Makes about 5 cups of rice.
